Following the announcement for national album day, the Wedding Present celebrated the occasion with two new re-issues – the band’s debut George Best and the chronologically connected compilation Tommy – both released through play it again sam.

George Best is the debut album by The Wedding Present. It was originally  released in October 1987 by their own record company, Reception.
