Todd Rundgren - The Complete U.S. Bearsville & Warner Bros. Singles
The Complete U.S. Bearsville & Warner Bros. Singles – 4-LP boxed set on colored vinyl; Limited edition of 4,500 copies.
The first time all of Todd’s Bearsville & Warner Records singles have been compiled for release. Featuring many unique edits and mixes previously out of print. Remastered.
Todd Rundgren was a master of the LP format – he'd often conceive, produce, and perform whole albums just by himself – but during the same stretch, he also had a fantastic talent for turning out some really catchy tunes – including many tracks that were giants on the airwaves in the 70s, and plenty more that should have bene over the years! This set focuses on all the great singles that Rundgren released during his classic stretch on the Warner Brothers and Bearsville labels – all of which sound very different here outside the context of the LPs, especially the pop nuggets that might have been buried on more concept-oriented records.
The limited box features a total of 43 tracks on 4LPs – and titles include "Wolfman Jack", "Onomatopoeia", "It Wouldn't Have Made Any Difference", "I Saw The Light", "We Gotta Get You A Woman", "A Long Time A Long Way To Go", "Parole", "Cold Morning Light", "Real Man", "Love Of The Common Man", "Can We Still Be Friends (edit)", "Bang The Drum All Day", "Emperor Of The Highway", "Something To Fall Back On", "Be Nice To Me", "Does Anybody Love You", "Heavy Metal Kids", "Hello It's Me", "Broke Down & Busted", and one of our all-time favorites, "Baby Let's Swing/The Last Thing You Said/Don't Tie My Hands".
(Limited edition – with each LP pressed in a different color!)
