The Covid Pandemic has affected virtually every business and music event on the planet and Record Store Day 2020 is no exception. The world is a different place. And for that reason, Record Store Day has had to adapt to fit into this different place. Instead, the titles on the RSD 2020 official list will be available in store on one of the three following RSD “Drop” Dates: Saturday 29th August, Saturday 26th September and Saturday 24th October.

The second RSD Drop day is coming up and we’ve got lots of exclusive top titles heading our way. We’ve looked at all the options possible for this years RSD and while we love seeing the shop rammed with excited customers, this year will have to be a little different. Our usual system has become very successful and popular with all concerned so with a little tweaking we are proposing to keep this in place.
We know that some of you like to set up camp very early for RSD. A nice, socially distant queue is important so 1 metre markings will be in place to start off.
6am: We will have complete lists of our RSD stock to distribute to early birds from which you can select the titles you are after. (No limits, except 1 of each!)
We do ask that MASKS 😷 are worn in the queue when lists are being handed out and collected please.
You can save time by downloading
the list HERE
and ticking off your wants at home.
When we have your lists we can start to bag up your orders (done in strict queue position order) and return your list to confirm availability.
You can then take a break from queuing, safe in the knowledge that your RSD haul is as good as yours 😁. Our friends at Love Brownies have delicious food and great coffee, and will be opening early especially for RSD! Go check them out ☕️
8am: Our doors open and we will ask 2 at a time to come in to collect their orders. As we will need to keep low numbers of people in store at one time, extra browsing time will have to be cut short to allow the next people to collect. But please come back at a later time in the day to have a good dig around.
We are confident that this approach will help everyone get what they’re after as stress free as possible, while keeping queues and crowds to a minimum.
Checklist: What to bring
