Record Store Day 2024
RSD2024 takes place on Saturday 20th April.
Now in its 17th year, Record Store day is the biggest event on the calendar for record collectors. Hundreds of exclusive titles are released on the day and will be available, only from participating independent record shops, like us!
I'm sure you all know the Record Store Day rules by now, but here they are:
1. Over the counter sales only (no phone or online orders).
2. First come first served. There will be an early queue!
3. No more than one copy per person of any title.
4. No pre-orders, no reserves ahead of the day.
Here’s how our Record Store Day will work.
This will be our 11th RSD and our usual system has become very successful and popular with all concerned. So……Saturday 20th April....
6.30am: We will have complete lists of our RSD stock to distribute to early birds from which you can select the titles you are after. (No limits, except 1 of each!)
The list of titles we are expecting is now available. You can save time by downloading the list HERE and ticking off your wants at home.
When we collect your completed list we can start to bag up your orders (done in strict queue position order) and you will be given a numbered ticket.
You can then take a break from queuing, safe in the knowledge that your RSD haul is as good as yours 😁.
Our friends at Love Brownies have delicious food and great coffee, and will be opening early especially for RSD! Go check them out ☕️
8am: Our doors open and we will ask a small group in at a time to come in to collect their orders.
We are confident that this approach will help everyone get what they’re after as stress free as possible!

RSD Wants List (Print off at home - we will have copies also)
An Umbrella: if it looks like rain.
Money 💰 We are taking cash or electronic payment
A Bag. We have plenty of our store branded bags but by law now have to charge 10p for each one. Just so you know!
