Porcupine Tree
Steven Wilson started a ‘bedroom’ musical project in the early 90’s and needed a name for it. Porcupine Tree was the name chosen at random for a then, fictional experimental band. Early, and unexpected interest in the ‘band’ eventually required some musicians to become the real band. Porcupine Tree became the leading light in the new wave of Progressive music.
