Vince Guaraldi - Oh, Good Grief!

Vince Guaraldi first found success with the Grammy-winning ‘Cast Your Fate to the Wind’, but it was his work on the Peanuts Christmas special that cemented his legacy. Tracks like ‘Linus and Lucy’ became instant classics, leading to Guaraldi scoring 15 Peanuts specials and the first feature film.

In 1968, after moving from Fantasy to Warner Bros. Records, Guaraldi reinterpreted his Peanuts material on Oh, Good Grief! – adding electric guitar and harpsichord to his signature piano trio setup. The result was a playful, vibrant spin on familiar themes, and the album became a fan favourite.
