Rainbow - Rising

The second album from Richie Blackmore’s Rainbow is still considered one, if not the best from the group. You won’t find anything too commercial here, and certainly nothing that could be mistaken for ‘pop’ In fact some tracks (Stargazer) could almost be Prog!

Features Ronnie James Dio, Cozy Powell, Jimmy Bain and Tony Cary. They all got the push at some point, but this remains the ultimate Rainbow line up for many!
