Noise In The City contains a complete concert from the Art Of Noise performed at Tokyo’s Nihon Seinenkan in August 1986.
Featuring AON mainstays Anne Dudley and JJ Jeczalik with Dave Bronze, Simon Moreton, Paul Robinson, and The Noisettes, the album beautifully represents AON in its mid-1980s pomp on the Visible Silence tour.
Limited edition of (1500 globally) individually numbered copies on double white vinyl. Mixed in 2021 by Gary Langan.
This album was made possible when Anne Dudley, JJJeczalik, and Gary Langan returned to Tokyo for live dates in 2017. They found that the 1986 concert had been recorded for FM radio broadcast and music journalist Ian Peel (who wrote the liner notes and had joined the band on the 2017 tour), tracked down the original multitrack master tapes to a vault in London.
